Laudine trauert. Identitätskonstituierung durch Trauerperformanz in Hartmanns von Aue „Iwein“

Der Beitrag untersucht die Klageszene der Laudine in Hartmanns von Aue „Iwein“ unter Rückgriff auf Judith Butlers Kategorie der Performativität von Geschlechtsidentität. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Frage, welche Spezifika das der Laudine-Figur mittels der Trauerperformanz attribuierte Identitätsmodell aufweist und in welcher Relation dies zu dem in der Enite-Klage des „Erec“ realisierten Identitätsmodell steht. Anhand textnaher Analysen wird herausgearbeitet, wie im „Iwein“ über die Abkehr von weiblich codierten Mustern des Trauerns soziale Normierungen problematisiert werden.

This article examines Laudine’s lament in Hartmann von Aue’s “Iwein”, drawing on Judith Butler’s category of the performativity of gender identity. At the centre of this discussion is the question of which specific features are attributed to the Laudine figure by the identity model on the basis of the lament, and of how this relates to the identity model to be seen in Enite’s lament in “Erec”. On the basis of close textual analyses the article shows out how social norms are problematised in “Iwein” by the rejection of recognisably female patterns of mourning.
