Doppelte Perfektkonstruktionen mit haben und sein – Funktionale Gemeinsamkeiten und paradigmatische Unterschiede

In diesem Beitrag wird zwei Fragestellungen im Zusammenhang mit dem doppelten Perfekt und dem doppelten Plusquamperfekt nachgegangen. Zum einen wird am Beispiel dieses in den maschinenlesbaren Textkorpora niederfrequenten Phänomens gezeigt, welche methodischen Schlussfolgerungen sich ziehen lassen, wenn man für die Untersuchung verschiedene Textkorpora heranzieht. Ausgewertet wurden die IDS-Korpora, das DWDS-Kernkorpus und das ZEIT-Korpus. Zum anderen wird – nach einem Blick in die historische Entwicklung der doppelten Perfektkonstruktionen – gezeigt, dass doppelte Perfektkonstruktionen mit dem Auxiliar sein einem syntaktischen Reanalyseprozess unterworfen sind, der dafür spricht, dass es sich hier nicht um doppelte Perfektkonstruktionen (wie bei Konstruktionen mit dem Auxiliar haben) handelt, sondern um einfache Perfektkonstruktionen der Kopula sein mit einem prädikativen Partizip II.

This article explores two problems connected with the double perfect and the double plusperfect. First, using the example of this low-frequency phenomenon in machine-readable corpuses, it shows that the methodological conclusions which can be drawn vary according to the text corpus used in the study. We analyse the IDS-corpuses, the DWDS core corpus and the ZEIT corpus. Secondly – after looking at the historical development of the double perfect constructions – the article shows that double perfect constructions with the auxiliary verb sein are subject to a process of syntactic reanalysis, which suggests that these are not actually double perfect constructions (as in constructions with the auxiliary haben), but simple perfect constructions of the copula sein with a predicative perfect participle.
